Commissioner Emeritus Jim Rhode passed away March 7, 2009.

Jim was involved in the ASA Softball for over 47 years and served as District Commissioner and then in 1981 Jim was appointed Washington State ASA Commissioner until retiring in 2006. He then served as Commissioner emeritus until his death. Jim was also the Director for Kennewick Parks and Recreation from 1957 until his retirement in 1991.
